The boutique year.

We have decided to go back to our ‘routes’ this year. This means that our focus is on two things.

1. Minimal entry cost, maximal experience

2. Sustainable related riding

We have secured support that means we can run at a loss. We are not here to support salaries. We are here to support good cycling vibes. This means you get in your £25/£15 entry

  • Circular route so no transport issues

  • Subsidised entry to reduce your costs

  • Amazing food and energy drinks before, during and after

  • Branded clothing for every rider (why do others charge for this?)

  • Treatment, massage and advice from Enduro World Series (mountain bikes) therapists

  • Spot giveaways while on the ride

  • Oncourse mechanical and medical support

  • Onsite safe parking

Not a single part of our operation takes a ‘salary’ we are completely for the love. Every penny goes into your ride. You will get amazing food, drink, support and ‘gifts’ beyond any other expensive similar ride. You don’t have to ‘buy’ a top, actually you don’t have to ‘buy’ into anything, except for the ride. Everything else we give you for free. That’s the way it should be, and that’s our philosophy.

Offering a bruised banana from a transit van on top of a hill just isn’t our thing

We ride and race because we love it. This is us giving back to the community.

All money from entry fees that is above cost will go to planting trees on a 5 acre plot near to the Black Mountains that we have secured with a partner to offset any carbon usage associated with the event.

We are the only community based sportive that exists in South Wales. We are different. We are better. Join the community.

The course will cover long and short routes across Gwent and Monmouthshire over wooded rolling hills and flatlands offering something for novices and keen cyclists alike.
